Twin Screw Extruder
The twin-screw extruder is developed on the basis of the single-screw extruder. And it is a key component in this process as it plays a crucial role in determining the final product quality and efficiency. So welcome to contact us.
How does a twin screw extruder work?
The FPL twin screw extrusion machine consists of two parallel screws that rotate in opposite directions and are housed inside a barrel.
Feeding the raw material into the barrel through a hopper. And transporting them through the screws towards the end of the barrel. In addition, the screws are designed in such a way that they compress and heat the raw material to a specific temperature range. Thus converting it into a homogeneous mixture. Then forcing this mixture through a die and cooling it to form the desired product.
What is the main component of twin screw extruder?
There are three components in this machine: extrusion system, transmission system and heating & cooling system.
